Art for All

I am currently designing a modern ranch house with a Swedish vibe (think cool grays, bright whites and lots of natural wood.) I can’t read a thing in Swedish, but Elin Lannsjö speaks my design language!

Currently I am looking for artwork to finish up my furniture presentation.  I always encourage clients to look for art on their travels as I love to layer in elements from my clients’ personal history. But sometimes the design comes first, and the art is added in later. In the meantime, there is no reason to live with bare walls. Minted is a great source for reasonable prints, so I turned here for options that won’t break the art budget.

We are painting the dining room in Benjamin Moore’s Normandy adding linen curtains and plenty of white trim.

The prices (with frames!) are incredible. And they come in sizes from tiny to immense. Who wouldn’t feel good about having these in their homes … even as a temporary fix! Here are my selections to finish off the dining room. Because the room is dark I am framing in all white, but they are available with multiple frame options. This beautiful cloud picture is available in 44×44 for $425.

And finally a contemporary watercolor in 30×40 for $325. Which one would you pick?
