I’m so excited for the New Year! I don’t just have resolutions … I have plans! I have plans for Johnston Home that include streamlined services combined with personalized design. I have plans for my home to remodel some of our outdoor spaces. (Wait for pictures …) And I have plans for my life that include better scheduling, all in the name of capturing precious time.
With all this planning, comes my favorite part: the purge. Because we can’t really add the new, without getting rid of the old. And although it feels good to give away old clothes and extra dishes, the real release is inside. I find I have to relinquish poor habits and limiting attitudes, before I can embrace the new. Watch what you keep in your internal home. After all, William Morris might not just have been talking about a house.
